Postdoctoral Associate, MIT, Manalis Lab
Jun 2021- Dec 2023

  • Developing organ-on-a-chip system to maintain patient derived colonic organoids and human gut microbiota in vitro with physiologically relevant condition (i.e., extracellular matrix, bio-chemical and bio-physical gradients, flow, and temperature).

  • Ludwig Center Postdoctoral Fellowship, 2023: "Creating a stable cross-kingdom colonic interface to study obligated anaerobes in colorectal cancer"

Research Assistant, Duke University, Acoustofluidics Lab

Sep 2016 - May 2021

  • Developed an integrated acoustic rotational tweezing system for 3D quantitative phenotypic analysis of zebrafish larvae.

  • Contributed to the development of digital and contactless droplet control systems.

  • Co-developed the acoustofluidic holography system for the arbitrary pattern of cells.

  • Co-developed an acoustofluidic centrifuge for the enrichment and separation of particles/biosamples in the nano-scale.
